Professor Bunnage has been undertaking medico-legal work since 2007 and accepts approximately 25 new instructions per year.

 

Professor Bunnage has been trained in medico-legal work and undertakes specific medico-legal CPD alongside professional CPD in Clinical Neuropsychology. He also undertakes specific medico-legal peer review to help maintain high standards of competence and quality in medico-legal work.

 

Professor Bunnage accepts instruction in civil and family law cases. The majority, more recently, have been within civil litigation, regarding matters of personal injury and clinical negligence.

 

Professor Bunnage has a listing with the UK register of expert witnesses where references regarding his medico-legal work can be viewed. He is also a full member of the Expert Witness Institute.

 

Professor Bunnage has most recently been instructed in the following proportions, 50% Claimant and 

50% Defendant.

 

Professor Bunnage makes every effort to ensure assessments for medico-legal reporting are undertaken in a thoughtful and sensitive manner, are thorough and detailed, and are scientifically rigorous.

 

Reports are thorough, with attention to detail, and opinions are clearly expressed and appropriately explained.

 

Professor Bunnage's waiting list for a new medico-legal appointment is typically around 9 months and reports are usually available within 4-6 weeks of an appointment.

 

Professor Bunnage offers regular clinics in Bristol and in London. Assessments and home visits can be undertaken nationally upon prior agreement.
